Due to the current global pandemic, New Horizon Counseling Center has taken the following measures to protect our employees, clients and programs, while continuing to provide services:
Most programs are operating with the use telehealth services (either by telephone or video) so that clients can receive the highest level of care without the need to come to our clinic or programs. If you are unsure as to whether or not the program/clinic you attend is operating, please contact them directly. While employees are working from offices, temperature is taken at the entrance of each facility and those with any presenting symptoms or recent exposure to Covid-19 are not allowed into our facilities.
All New Horizon Counseling Center facilities are fully stocked with hand sanitizers, antibacterial soap and masks. The protection of our staff is our top priority and therefore we have provided all of our frontline workers with masks, gloves and other necessary PPE in order to prevent the spread of the virus.
Change is never easy, but the pandemic has forced us to evaluate and improve upon some of our general operations such as Accounting, IT, Facilities, Purchasing and Communications as well as how provide client care. We feel that many of the changes we have made have only made us a stronger organization, one that will not only survive this pandemic, but one that will thrive in a post pandemic world.
