Adult Home Behavioral Health

For over 30 years, New Horizon Counseling Center has partnered with the NY State Department of Health and NY State Office of Mental Health to provide behavioral health services at some of its licensed adult homes – where individuals with serious and persistent mental illness live in a social setting and are provided with the basic life-sustaining services to enable them to take the step from inpatient treatment to independent living.

Through the use of evidence-based practices, New Horizon Counseling Center’s staff of behavioral health professionals enable these adults to gain insight into their mental illness, manage their symptoms, and acquire the skills necessary to re-enter the community and live and work in a more independent setting. New Horizon Counseling Center has four Adult Home Behavioral Health Clinics.
